Lightning Current Tester according to ITU-T-K20 /

ITU-T-K20 & K21 specify for Basic Tests – 1kA / wire and for enhanced Tests 5kA / wire. This implies a current generator with up to 8 independent outputs capable of testing each wire with up to 5kA impulses. The MIG0624TEL and MIG0648TEL are designed with independent outputs for testing 4 or 8 wire telecom interfaces, ensuring that should one protection device be activated during testing, the current is limited to the value specified in the standard (1kA or 5kA). The generators are constructed such that all outputs can be shorted together to provide up to 24kA or 48kA impulses if required.
