Lightning Tests

lightning_head

Lightning is an atmospheric discharge of electricity resulting from an accumulation of static charges. Lightning is one of the most common causes of transients in electric systems. While a direct lightning strike is dramatic, it is important to note that the indirect effects are no less severe as lightning produces intense electric and magnetic fields that can couple into nearby power or communication lines.
